When is the best time for a camper trip?

The main season runs from May to September: long days, a warm sea and open campsites. Spring and autumn are quieter, with especially beautiful nature.

Where can I stay overnight with a camper?

At campsites, camper parking areas and nature rest areas. Each route comes with recommended places, and we can book them in advance.

Can I combine the route with Estonia and Lithuania?

Yes. The “Three Baltic Capitals” route links Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius, and any Latvian route can be extended into the neighbouring countries.

What if I do not want to drive?

Choose a minibus with a driver and guide — for groups of 4 to 10 people. Overnight stays are then in hotels or guesthouses.

BELTRAVEL aims to attract travellers from Portugal, inviting them to discover Latvia and the wider Baltic region through flexible, individually tailored road trips.

Direct flights make Latvia a convenient destination for travellers from Portugal and open the door to new partnerships with Portuguese travel distributors, corporate clients and tourism institutions.

Depending on your wishes, we arrange a camper or campervan rental (2–6 people) with a pre-planned route, or a minibus adapted for travel (4–10 people) with a driver and a guide. Routes can include Riga, the Latvian coast, nature sites and cultural heritage, combined with destinations in Estonia and Lithuania; the length of the trip, overnight stays and themed activities are fully flexible.

Frequently asked questions

For campers up to 3.5 t gross weight a category B licence is enough. Heavier campers require category C1 — we will find a suitable vehicle.
