Cancellation and Refund Policy

When using services provided by SIA “Beltravel”, registration No. 40203438242, legal address: Rīga, Dižozolu iela 10 - 121, LV-1058, Latvia, through the website https://beltravel.lv, the Client has the right to cancel the purchased service and request a refund in accordance with this policy and the rules of the relevant service provider.

1. General Provisions

1.1. Beltravel acts as an intermediary in the sale of travel services unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific offer.

1.2. The possibility of cancellation, the amount refundable, the refund deadlines, and any applicable cancellation charges depend on the type of service purchased and the terms of the relevant service provider.

1.3. By making a booking, the Client confirms that they have reviewed not only Beltravel’s rules, but also the cancellation and refund terms of the actual service provider.

2. Cases Where a 100% Refund May Apply

2.1. The Client is entitled to a full refund if, after payment has been made, the selected service is no longer available.

2.2. A full refund may also apply if, after a prepayment has been made, the final service price changes and the Client does not agree to the revised price.

2.3. If Beltravel or the relevant provider is unable to deliver the booked service and the Client does not accept the proposed alternative, the Client is entitled to request a refund to the extent provided by law or the applicable service terms.

3. Cancellation After Booking Confirmation

3.1. If payment has been made and the booking has been confirmed, but the Client chooses to cancel the service, the refund terms shall be governed by the cancellation policy of the relevant service provider.

3.2. For certain services, cancellation after confirmation may be impossible or may result in partial or full cancellation charges.

3.3. Beltravel will inform the Client of the applicable cancellation terms to the extent such information has been provided by the relevant service provider.

4. Unused or Interrupted Services

4.1. If, after the service has started, the Client voluntarily interrupts the service or refuses to use part of the paid service, no refund for the unused portion will generally be made unless the relevant provider’s terms state otherwise.

4.2. The same rule applies in cases of no-show for a flight, transfer, accommodation, or any other booked service.

5. How to Submit a Cancellation Request

5.1. To request cancellation, the Client must send a written request to [email protected] or to Beltravel’s legal address.

5.2. The request may be submitted using a Beltravel cancellation form, if such form is made available, or in free form.

5.3. The request should preferably include:

  • the Client’s full name;

  • contact details;

  • booking or order number;

  • description of the purchased service;

  • amount paid and payment date;

  • reason for cancellation;

  • bank account details, if required for refund processing.

6. Refund Procedure

6.1. Where a refund is applicable, it shall be made to the person who made the original payment.

6.2. Refunds will generally be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless a different method is required by law or technical circumstances.

6.3. The refund timing may depend on the rules of the relevant provider, payment partner, bank, or other party involved in the transaction process.

7. Identification and Verification

7.1. Before processing a cancellation or issuing a refund, Beltravel may verify the identity of the Client or the payer.

7.2. For this purpose, Beltravel may request additional information or a copy of an identity document to the extent necessary for security, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
