Beltravel mobile app
When you use the app, we additionally process:
your phone number, to sign in with an SMS code; if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and email the provider shares;
the app installation ID and push notification token;
your taste questionnaire answers (destinations, who you travel with, budget, preferences) and your 👍/👎 ratings of shortlists;
search history and viewed hotels — only if you allow the app to remember your preferences;
technical crash and performance data;
a photo or screenshot — only if you attach one to a message yourself.
We use this data to sign you in, build shortlists, send price-drop alerts and fix errors. We do not collect advertising identifiers, do not share data for advertising, and do not request your location or contacts.
AI shortlists. Hotel shortlists are built by the Claude AI model of Anthropic PBC (USA), which processes data on our behalf. It receives your questionnaire answers, your shortlist ratings and — if you allow the app to remember your preferences — the hotels you viewed. Your name, phone number and email are never shared with the model. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. You give consent before the first shortlist and can withdraw it and erase saved preferences in the app: More → My details and settings.
Other recipients of app data (only as far as needed):
Twilio — sending the sign-in SMS code;
Apple and Google — sign-in with their accounts and delivery of push notifications;
Stripe — deposit payments by card or Apple Pay; card details are entered in Stripe's form and are not visible to us;
Expo (650 Industries) — delivering app updates and crash reports.
Some of these companies are located in the USA; transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Account deletion. You can delete your account in the app: More → My details and settings → Delete account. Records of concluded contracts and payments are kept for as long as Latvian accounting law requires.
Push notifications can be turned off in your phone settings at any time.
